The image above is a link to a great weather page.  It currently shows weather conditions at Sacramento executive airport, however you can put in any airport identifier in the find weather box, hit go and it will give you the weather at that location. One nice feature is if you click on the details link for any day of the week it will give you wind speed and direction every two hours or so throughout the day. A good weather page for flight planning short or long flights.

Check for TFR's along your route of flight

Check for fuel prices at individual airports, within a radius of your home field or along a route of flight.

If you have not downloaded AOPA's real-time flight planner you can get it here. You must be an AOPA member to download it. It's a decent flight planning program with many features. I find it easier to use than the EAA flight planner.
